2. Scope

This privacy policy applies to all apps published under the “Mein Auftritt” brand, both current and future – currently: Numberflow byMA, Owlreader byMA and AutoName OCR byMA. App-specific details are listed separately below.

3. General Principles

The apps by Mein Auftritt are designed to generate as little personal data as possible. Unless stated otherwise, game data, settings and progress are stored exclusively on the user’s device and are not transmitted to any servers operated by the provider.

4. In-App Purchases

If an app offers in-app purchases, they are processed through Apple’s StoreKit framework. Payment data is processed exclusively by Apple; the provider has no access to payment or account information. Apple’s privacy policy also applies: apple.com/legal/privacy

5. Tracking, Advertising, Analytics

No advertising identifiers, no tracking and no third-party analytics tools are used, unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific app.

6. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, insofar as any data is processed. Please direct requests to the email address above.

Apps in Detail

Numberflow byMA

Numberflow byMA does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Scores and game progress remain exclusively on the device. Section 4 of this policy applies to in-app purchases. There is no tracking and no advertising.

Owlreader byMA

Local data: Library, imported books, reading progress, bookmarks and settings are stored exclusively on your device. Data exchange with the Apple Watch companion app happens locally between your own devices.

Speech output: When using Apple voices, speech is generated offline on the device; no data is transmitted.

Optional cloud speech (ElevenLabs): Only if you select ElevenLabs as the speech engine in the settings, the text passages to be read aloud are transmitted to the ElevenLabs service (USA) to generate speech. You use your own ElevenLabs account for this; the API key is stored in your device’s keychain and is not transmitted to us. ElevenLabs’ own privacy terms also apply. The transfer to the USA relies on standard contractual clauses or the provider’s statements.

Text recognition (OCR): For scanned or photographed PDF pages, text recognition runs exclusively on the device.

Purchase: Unlocking the app after the one-month trial is processed through the App Store (StoreKit); trial period and purchase status are determined via Apple (Section 4). We receive no payment data.

No tracking, no advertising, no third-party analytics.

AutoName OCR byMA

AutoName OCR byMA does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. Scanning, text recognition (OCR) and automatic file naming take place entirely on the device; no documents, images or text are transmitted to any server. The generated PDF files remain exclusively on your device, in the folder you choose. Section 4 of this policy applies to in-app purchases. There is no tracking, no advertising and no third-party analytics tools.

7. Changes to this Policy

This privacy policy will be updated as needed, for example when new apps are added or the functionality of existing apps changes. The version most recently published on this page applies.
